With years of experience in portrait, event, and lifestyle photography, I specialize in creating authentic, illuminating images that reflect the true essence of my subjects. Every photo session is a collaboration, where I work closely with clients to bring their vision to life. Being in front of the camera can be intimidating, but I bring a calm, warm and patient energy to my work that puts others at ease so that the truth of who they are shines through in their portraits. I'm a California native who relocated to Utah for college and ended up staying for the beautiful friendships and scenery. When I'm not making art, I love spending time with my two big fluffy dogs, going out for coffee, listening to music, painting and staying active.
I spent almost ten years in social work and emergency services until my burnout reached a critical point and I had to step away to reinvent myself. I will forever be grateful for my time in that field and the way it deepend my ability to love and connect with people from all walks of life. It took a lot of rest and courage for me to rediscover and rekindle my joy, creativity and playfulness. These are some of my favorite parts of myself and the gifts I feel called and excited to share with the world through visual storytelling.
I've been passionate about taking pictures since I was a kid, but started taking it seriously as a career in 2023. Photography feels like an extension of my ability to notice the beauty in the world and people around me, which is a perspective I have worked hard to cultivate and maintain alongside the difficulties of my life. Being in front of the camera can be intimidating but I bring a calm, warm and patient energy to my work that puts others at ease. My genuine love for people, beauty and life shines through in my art because I am able to recognize, invite out and capture the authenticity that makes someone uniquely beautiful.
